I searched the internet to find someone who advertised as being knowledgeable in the condo market in our area. Rod Friesen’s name came up among others. I looked at reviews and all appeared favorable, so I contacted Rod at Sutton West Coast Realty. Shortly thereafter, we met Rod in our home and conversed, so that we could get to know each other and to view our condo. He seemed to have grasped what we wanted to accomplish by moving to another location.
Though we put our place on the market during the slower months with little activity, Rod took us to view places he thought would be of interest to us. Through this process, I believe he was able to help us to firm up, and for him to visualize what we were hoping to find. Understanding which ideals we were willing to give up and/or exchange for another in our current financial reality also became clearer.
We always felt Rod had our best interests in mind. He was friendly but, factual during discussions of current market conditions and he encouraged us to make decisions based on those conditions.
Rod’s experience and expertise helped make the process less stressful and the progression of documents between buyers/sellers, bankers, inspectors and lawyers quite seemless.
We are relieved and excited as we anticipate our move and thank Rod for assisting us in this significant life event.
