We were moving our dental practice from Alberta to BC. Rod came to us through his marketing into our townhome complex. He had sold another unit in our complex and was marketing that he had another couple who was also looking for a unit in our complex. When we decided it was time to sell, we met with Rod to get an evaluation. we had another agent friend at that time and listed with them at the time.We tried to sell with the other agent on 3 separate occasions with no luck. Twice the listing expired and the third time we cancelled the listing as the frustration of the market had gotten to us. In September of 2013 my wife and I decided that we were going to enter the real estate market of the lower mainland with hopes of buying a condo unit that was affordable, close to all amenities and pet friendly. We had a specific unit style in mind for condo living that included an open concept that was not necessarily renovated but not outdated either.

I searched the internet to find someone who advertised as being knowledgeable in the condo market in our area. Rod Friesen’s name came up among others. I looked at reviews and all appeared favorable, so I contacted Rod at Sutton West Coast Realty. Shortly thereafter, we met Rod in our home and conversed, so that we could get to know each other and to view our condo. He seemed to have grasped what we wanted to accomplish by moving to another location.
